Ceflex is the collaborative initiative of a European consortium of companies and associations representing the entire value chain of flexible packaging.

The initiative mission is to further enhance the performance of flexible packaging in the circular economy by advancing better system design solutions identified through the collaboration of companies.

British Plastics Federation

Established in 1933 the British Plastics Federation (BPF) is the most powerful voice in the UK plastic industry with over 500 members across the plastics industry supply chain, including polymer producers and suppliers, additive manufacturers, recyclers, services providers end users, plastics processors and machinery manufacturers, representing over 80% of the industry by turnover.

The BPF promotes the interests of its Members principally through its four Market Sector Groups and its many common interest Business Groups. The BPF Central Expert Committee address industry wide concerns including environment, fire, product safety and industrial health and safety.


Recoups stands for RECycling Of Used Plastics and is a registered charity and not for profit member based organisation. RECOUP works in collaboration with all stakeholders to promote, develop, stimulate and increase the levels of plastics recycling within the UK.

Plastic Recyclers Europe

120 companies across Europe are members of Plastics Recyclers Europe (PRE). It was established in 1996 with the purpose of protecting and promoting the interests of plastics recyclers in Europe. PRE supports the transition towards a circular economy and aims to harmonise the recycling standards across Europe.

Operation Clean Sweep

The campaign’s goal is to help every plastic resin handling operation implement good housekeeping and pellet, flake and powder containment practise to work toward achieving zero pellet, flake and power loss, protecting the environment and saving valuable resources.

Zero Waste to Landfill

The ultimate aim of the “Zero Waste to Landfill” philosophy, which all our manufacturing sites are working to, is to prevent any waste material (produced within the business) being disposed to landfill. Valpak provides independent certification of an organisation’s Zero Waste to Landfill achievement by performing site audits and a review of documentation.

The Carbon Trust

The Carbon Trust is an independent, expert partner of leading organisations around the world, helping them contribute to and benefit from a more sustainable future through carbon reduction, resource efficiency strategies and commercialising low carbon technologies.
